The Rochester Area Literacy Council is a professional organization whose members are dedicated to improving the quality of literacy instruction at all levels. The Council: Provides opportunities for networking and sharing of instructional strategies and materials Sponsors conferences, meetings, and workshops to disseminate current research and best practices in literacy education. Provides and promotes community service and projects in support of literacy. Provides information and opportunities for being literacy advocates at the local, state, and national levels.
